Ronald J. Gross went home to be with his Lord Monday, May 1, 2023. Ronald was born Aug. 10, 1951, to the late Joseph and Mary (Henderson) Gross. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by three sisters, Joann (Gross) DeMatty, Mary Lou (Gross) McLean and Agnes "Dolly" (Gross) Lam; and one brother, Allen Gross. Ronald is survived by five brothers, David Gross, Tom Gross, William Gross, Ralph Gross and Ronald's twin brother, Donald Gross; and one sister Peggy (Gross) Sommerville. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ronald's legacy of kindness and love will long outlast his time on this earth. He was especially loved by his extended family at the Community Living Care in Greensburg, where he was a resident for 32 years. The family wants to extend their heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Community Living Care for their love. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends for viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday May 4, 2023, at SNYDER-GREEN FUNERAL HOME located at 402 East Church St. in Ligonier. Additional viewings will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday May 5, also at Snyder-Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 6, at Snyder-Green Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Bethel Cemetery.
