Patricia Davies-Calder

Patricia A. Davies-Calder, age 78 of Ligonier, passed away in her home on September 30, 2021. She was born in Johnstown, Pa on January 13, 1943 to the late Richard and Margaret (Zahurak) Pentrack.

Patricia began her professional career during the Johnstown Flood, serving as a project coordinator for a FEMA contractor. She then took a position with New York Life and became a top producing sales agent.  In 1984, Patricia and her son Ronald Davies founded Patricia A. Davies Real Estate. Patricia loved looking for treasures at rummage sales, nature walks, picking berries, traveling the world and living life to the fullest.

Patricia is survived by her sons Ronald (Jamie) Davies, David (Susan) Davies and daughter Roxanne (Ron) Ziegler; grandchildren Tyler, Jeffrey (Kate), Kaden, Brandon, Cody, Valentina (Kyle), Destine (Michael), Monica (Ryan), Jessica (Nathan) and Gabriell; her loved dog companion, Ruby. 6 Great Grandchildren; Also survived by her nephew Jeffrey (Heather) Pentrack of Ohio.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald W. Davies, second husband William A. Calder, Brother Richard Pentrack and Nephew Rich Pentrack.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Snyder-Green Funeral Home Inc. 402 E. Church St. Ligonier 724-238-2611 where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 A.M. Entombment will follow at Grandview Cemetery Johnstown Pa.

Memorial donations can be made in Patricia’s name to the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pa.
