Nancy Monticue

Nancy A. Monticue peacefully passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 85. Born December 17, 1939, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had been a resident at Beacon Ridge Nursing for the last three years

She cherished spending time with her loved ones. Her enthusiasm for playing Bingo and participating in various social events highlighted her vibrant spirit and zest for life.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Raymond L. Monticue Jr., and their children: Michael Monticue, David (Kelly) Monticue, and Eric (the late Wendy) Monticue. She was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren, a doting great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will carry forward her love and cherish the memories they shared.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George C. and Ora Jeannette (Stouffer) Gratzinger, and her siblings: Margaret Mullertt, Carolyn Gratzinger, Louise Lawrence, Helen Bedner, Ruth Heide, Betty Lenhart, George "Bob" Gratzinger, William Gratzinger, Richard Gratzinger, Edwin "Ross" Gratzinger, Ronald Gratzinger, Donald Gratzinger, and James Gratzinger.

Visitation for Nancy will take place on Tuesday April 22, 2025, at Snyder-Green Funeral Home 402 East Church St. Ligonier from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by an evening visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.

Memorial donations in Nancy’s name can be made to the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Ligonier Pa.
