Linda Marie Roadman (Grimm), age 62, of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 19, 2024 surrounded by loving family, after a long battle with multiple myeloma. Known for her unwavering compassion and dedication to others, Linda's life was a testament to the impact of love and service.
Linda was born on November 23, 1961 in Ligonier, the daughter of Robert and Anna May Grimm. Linda and her husband, Gerald Roadman, cherished over 46 years of marriage together.
Linda spent her life serving others and her commitment to that value was demonstrated in her personal and professional lives continually; as home care nurse, cosmetologist, and as a doting spouse, mother, relative, and friend. Linda's relationship with God was an important part of her life and her faith helped her navigate her cancer diagnosis and battle; she was a member of Fairmont Church.
Family remembers Linda as the compass that guided others to navigate this life, and the bond that held them together. She cared for others in every moment. Linda took action and guaranteed flawless quality in the projects and activities she enjoyed-from cooking meals for her family or gardening, to building and repair projects she did with her husband.
Linda leaves behind her spouse, Gerald Roadman; children, Jason (Amy) Roadman, Rebecca Roadman; grandchildren, Brooke Roadman, Jacob Roadman; siblings, Robert Grimm, Sandy (William) Roadman, William Grimm, Dennis Grimm, Peggy (Jeff) Levic, Terry (April) Grimm; and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding her in death are parents, Robert and Anna May Grimm; parents-in-law, Joseph and Helen Roadman; siblings, Victor and Loretta Grimm, Barbara Grimm, Judy Grimm; and many she shepherded through illness and death as a caretaker.
Visitation will be held at Snyder-Green Funeral Home at 402 East Church Street Ligonier, on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. The family invites guests to bring photos of Linda or stories about her to celebrate her life.
