Dolores Ross

Dolores Ross (Overly), born on May 18, 1939, passed away on October 23, 2023. Known for her love of pets and gardening, Dolores leaves behind a legacy filled with warmth and kindness.

Dolores was a remarkable woman whose life was centered around her passions. She found solace in nurturing plants and creating beautiful landscapes. Her green thumb was admired by all who knew her. Dolores also had a deep affection for animals, always opening her heart and home to furry companions in need.

One of the proudest moments of Dolores' life was being a member of the Donegal Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Her unwavering faith guided her throughout her life, providing her with strength and compassion to help those around her.

Dolores will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her brother Don Overly, as well as nieces and nephews who were fortunate enough to experience her love and support.

In cherishing the memory of Dolores, we are reminded of the incredible bond she shared with her late siblings Glenn, Dorothy, Charlie, Ruth, Domer, Isaac Jr., George, Sam, Bill, and Helen. They were not just siblings; they were each other's pillars of strength through thick and thin.

A memorial service will be held on November 11, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ located at 570 Buchanan Road in Normalville, PA. The service will begin at 1:00 PM to honor the beautiful life Dolores lived. 
As we say goodbye to Dolores Ross, let us remember the warmth she extended to both humans and animals alike. May her memory live on within our hearts as an inspiration to embrace our passions wholeheartedly and spread kindness wherever we go.
