David E. Harbaugh

David E. Harbaugh, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023. He was born on January 1, 1938, to the late Harry and Mary (Shawley) Harbaugh.

David was a beloved member of his community and will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle spirit.  David had a love for life that was evident in everything he did.

David enjoyed walking his dog Peanut and hunting. David also found peace and happiness while riding in his tractor and cutting firewood. These hobbies brought him solace and allowed him to connect with nature.

David is proceeded in death by his siblings; George Harbaugh, Robert (survived by Sandy) Harbaugh, Miller Harbaugh, Raymond (survived by Goldie) Harbaugh. He is survived by his siblings; Harry (late Joyce and late Karen) Harbaugh, Edward (Ruby) Harbaugh, Nancy (Larry) Telford, Barbara (late James) Telford, Elizabeth (late Leslie) Ahlborn, Connie (Joseph) Ahlborn and many nieces and nephews.

The services to honor David's life will be held at Snyder-Green Funeral Home located at 402 E Church St., Ligonier, PA 15658. Family and friends received Thursday, July 13th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 14th at 1:00 PM. Internment to follow at Snowball Cemetery.
