Albert Clark

Albert P. Clark, 76, of Ligonier, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1945, in Laughlintown, to the late Franklin Lee and Sophia Rose (Stein) Clark. A member of Ligonier High School, Class of 1964, he was a retired caretaker of animals for Rolling Rock Farms with nearly 50 years of service. He loved the Lord and was a member of New Beginnings Worship Center, Ligonier. He was a coin collector, enjoyed bluegrass music and was passionate about animals. He loved to eat and socialize with family and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Clark. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet L. (Young) Clark; two children, Ryan Lee Clark (Elise), of Pittsburgh, and Jill L. Mickinak (Cory), of Boswell; a twin brother, Robert Clark (Susan); brother, James Clark (Terry); and a sister, Connie Clark; as well as several nieces and nephews; and his cat, Sam. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at SNYDER-GREEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 402 E. Church St., Ligonier, PA 15658, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, with Pastor David Brady officating.
